The staples of any energy drink, bar, or gel are carbohydrates. In this regard, Hammer Gel stands alone in today's glutted market of energy products. A look at the ingredient list on the label will tell you why: we use long-chain complex carbohydrates for smooth, consistent energy release. There's only a trace of sugar, so Hammer Gel doesn't set off wild insulin spikes causing "sugar high" and "sugar crash." You won't find our products saturated with cheap, ineffective, commercial-grade sugars, which can ruin health and performance.
Hammer Gel is an easily digested, concentrated source of complex carbohydrates with four amino acids added to enhance performance and prolong energy levels during intense training and competition. Choose either single-serving pouches or cost-effective 26-serving jugs for even, reliable energy, not the "flash and crash" of sugar-loaded products. HOW TO USE
Use as a primary fuel source of calories during exercise less than 3 hours.
Consume 1 serving 10 minutes before and every 45 minutes during exercise. Add 473–768 ml, depending on temperatures, of water per hour.
If using more than one fuel, be sure to count all of the calories from all of the products consumed to reach a correct total hourly intake.

Consume 0.5-2.5 servings per hour (see chart above), along with 475-830 ml of plain water per hour from a separate source.
Use as a secondary calorie source during exercise lasting more than 3 hours; it’s time to switch to Perpetuem® as your primary fuel source. However, Hammer Gel can be combined with Perpetuem or any other Hammer fuel during prolonged exercise for variety and to avoid flavour fatigue. Just be sure to count calories from all sources to avoid over-consuming.

Carry as many as needed for the duration of your exercise. Please retain the tab and empty pouch for proper disposal.
NOTE
Hammer Gel is perfectly compatible with all other Hammer Nutrition fuels. During ultra distance events, while Hammer Gel cannot be your sole source of calories every single hour, it may be used occasionally to give you a little variety in what you're consuming.
- Espresso Hammer Gel contains 50 mg caffeine per serving.
- Tropical Hammer Gel contains 25 mg caffeine per serving.
- You can use Hammer Gel to flavour Sustained Energy or Hammer Whey smoothies, etc.
